#wheninRome I love me some vacation shave, especially after a fun day of exploration. We are in Edmonton for a few days of r&r. We started of the day taking the Edmonton old time cable to down to a old Strathcona market. We sampled a bunch of local product and toured around the fantastic venue. I came across the Like Grandpa booth and got a chance to check out the entire product line. What a great! I picked up this limited edition shave soap and was happy to learn part of the proceeds go to charity. Bonus!From there I tricked down to Kent of Inglewood and was able to check out their fantastic store, lots of shave related items to see. I highly recommend checking it out. A quick (and unfruitful stop) at an antique mall, a quick bite, and then we were off to meet a fellow wet shaving for a visit. It was great to put a face to the name.Anyways, back to the shave. The Like Grandpa Wild Rose soap is fantastic. A quick and easy load worked into a nice dense lather. Scent is great, although a touch on the mild side. Lots of cushion, nice slickness. A big win. The Yaqi DOC continues to be one of my favourite razors and it was nice to have my home lather bowl for the trip. A big win in the shave today. Back to the vacationing….
