#samplesaturday I’ve been waiting to try my MDC samples until I had a badger brush that I was in love with. The Yaqi is that. It has taken over as my favourite brush by far. The handle is so comfortable and the knot is dense and luxurious. I pulled the Fougère sample that I had been eyeing up for a while. I don’t really have that scent profile in the den but after trying this, it is something I will have to remedy. The soap performed extremely well, a pinch of sample in the bowl and a touch of moisture on the brush and the lather exploded. I had enough in the bowl for 3 passes and could have easily done another 3-4. The scent was fantastic. Not having an ideal pairing I pulled one of versatile products in the Sharp Dressed Man. It actually paired fairly well. 3 passes with my Gillette Slim Adjustable/Rapira blade….. BBS. A great start to the weekend. Happy Saturday all!
