Happy Canada Day to all my Canadian Wet Shavers out there. For the non Canadian followers, July 1st is when we celebrate Canada’s Birthday. It seemed fitting to rock an all Canadian shave. This is proving to be a tougher task every year as there are so many great Canadian artisans offering products out there. There just isn’t a possible way I could cover them all in one shave.
For the soap/aftershave I chose one of my favourite scents in the den, Three Six & Charlie from Stonefield Shaving Company (Winnipeg, MB). This scent everyone needs to experience. Bergamot, Irish Tweed, Coffee, and Pipe Tobacco makes for a fantastic pairing. The razor is the masterful creation of Karve Shaving Co (Edmonton, AB). To whip up the lather, I used another den favourite, my Paragon (White Rock, BC) Plisson synthetic. And to wrap up the post shave, heal the skin from the prairie sun I used my Like Grandpa (Edmonton, AB) sandalwood balm. Can’t leave the house without looking sharp for the Canada Day festivities so I added my Henri et Victoria Duc De Santal pomade to the mix. These are just some of the amazing products coming out of the Great White North. And while I couldn’t use all my Canadian products today, I figured I’d name drop others that are in my den:
