I got this Tallow and Steel combo in a mail call yesterday and I was very excited to give it a go. My first T+S experience. I’m still a little irritated from something on the weekend so I pulled my trusty Gillette Tech. Never fails for a gentle shave. On to the soap. The scent is complex, it reminded me of the Barrister & Mann products I have. I had trouble picking out any one note but everything harmonized well. A very nice scent. Performance was grand. The aftershave had just the right amount of scent strength and it was a nice soothing hit. It made for a great shave to start the day. I hadn’t picked up a T+S to this point as the price point is a bit higher than what I normally grab, but I can say if all the products are like this, it will be worth the extra few bucks. I can see adding more to my den.
