Rarely do I hear of a shave soap that is as polarizing as this one. Few love it, many despise it. I must acquire it. And so I did. I picked up a set to give it a go. Word of warning, don’t take a deep whiff off the puck. It will likely turn you off. The colour is dark dark dark leathery brown. It hit with a dark musky chocolaty scent, with a tiny bit of strawberry and vanilla to brighten it up. It even lathers a strange brown. It is an acquired taste for sure. But if you can get by the opening, the finish and dry down rounds out nicely and you will carry a unique dark scent. And if you cant, you well be getting rid of it at the earliest convenience. It is that polarizing. It performs like a champ, but will it be a scent for you? For me, I’ll have to give it a few more goes before I give a final verdict. Just don’t nose straight to the puck!
