Something irritated the heck out of my face yesterday. I don’t know if it was the practice pass on the straight, the L&L splash sample splashed I used, or just the snowy temperature swings we have been having here but my face was irritated all day. As such, I opted to go with something a little delicate today. I pulled out my Jermyn Street cream from Taylor of Old Bond Street. I tend not to use the TOBS products very often. Performance is always good, and I really like a few of their scents that I’ve sampled, but I am always left wishing they were a bit more scent forward. Today was no exception. I got a DEADLY lather in the bowl with the cream, enough for many passes (no practise pass today though). The scent was fantastic, but man I wish it was a bit more pronounced. Maybe I’ll have to pick up a post shave from them to see if the scent carries a bit better.
I opted for the cooling iced pineapple for a splash. This will be my new go to for days when I have got too much sun or just want a bit of a chilling effect. It has just the right amount of menthol for me. And I finished up with my Like Grandpa sandalwood balm. As a result, my face feels great. I’ll see how things turn around for tmrw, but today is looking up 🙂
