It wouldn’t be a #westernweek if I didn’t break out the straight and give it a go. I’m still very raw at that so the first pass was a bit shakey and I cleaned up with my Rockwell (on 1 just in case). The Soapy Bathman Desperado was a fantastic choice. Lots of cushion and slickness. SB describes the scent as blend of Grapefruit, star anise, bergamot, lavender, violet leaf, whiskey, vetiver, amber and tobacco It definitely has that western vibe, but for my preference, the floural vibe is a bit too pronounced. Still it lathered like a dream with the old Omega boar brush and trusty Thirsty Badger lather bowl. A fantastic shave.
